David Benning - Online
Resources
Mr. Benning was co-founder of Integrated Data Systems a software and
consulting firm acquired by Online Resources in 2005.
David Benning is a
Vice President at Online Resources and responsible for Strategic
Development in the Community Banking and Credit Unions division. Mr.
Benning has both a software and hardware engineering background with 25
years of experience in networks, software design and communications
systems. David has industry certifications from Microsoft, Novell, Cisco
and 3Com.
Mr. Benning has spent
the last two years immersed in the mobile banking and payments market.
He is a regular speaker on the use of mobile technologies for banking
applications at Industry conferences and users group meetings.
David Koning, CFA - Baird Associates
Prior to joining Baird in 2002, he was an equity analyst at Holland
Capital Management and a commercial lender and commercial credit
analysts at Comerica Bank. David received a BA in Mathematics and
Business from Calvin College and a MBA with a concentration in Finance
from the University of Chicago.
David has worked at Baird as
a research analyst for five years, and today his coverage includes
Fiserv, Jack Henry, Fidelity (and previously what was Certegy), Bisys,
Open Solutions (until its acquisition) and Checkfree in the bank arena,
as well as Global Payments in the credit card processing arena. He
analyzes the finances, prospects, and strategy around these companies
intently. He regularly presents on financial technology service
trends.
Marc Riccio, President and
Founder, Specialized
Data Systems
Marc has over
twenty-five years of providing innovative software and web-based
solutions to Banks, Credit Unions and Mortgage Companies.
Prior to founding
Specialized Data Systems in 1989, Marc worked for several technology
firms as Sales Manager, Account Manager and Systems Analyst. His belief
for implementing technology is to increase productivity, reduce costs,
increase efficiency and improve customer service. This basic philosophy
and message is the core reason for his company’s success and is why
Specialized Data Systems has earned the business of 40% of Connecticut
Banks.
Among his significant
previous positions, Marc served as Senior Marketing Representative for
FiServ-Connecticut (formerly Northeast DataCom) and worked in the Retail
Banking and Systems group for Bank of America (formerly Colonial Bank).
Marc holds a
Bachelors of Arts degree from St. Anselm College and a Master of
Business Administration (MBA) degree from University of New Haven. He
resides and is headquartered on the Connecticut shoreline with his wife
and business partner, Kandi Riccio.
Gary Scott, Mountain Guide
and Explorer - Keynote Speaker
Gary is a world-renowned professional athlete, mountain guide and
explorer. His accomplishments include the fastest ascent of Alaska’s Mt.
McKinley. He has attempted a world-record, non-oxygen, solo, one-day,
speed ascent of 29,035’ Mt. Everest in 1991. Previously an extreme
professional rock-climber who has led over 200 first ascents up to 5.12,
Gary’s experience is extensive. His professional experience includes
such prestigious positions as Sponsorship Coordinator for Colorado of
the American Everest Expedition in 1990-91, the Deputy Director and U.S.
National Team Manager of the Triathlon-Federation/USA, 1986-90, and the
President and Expedition Guide for Challenge, Inc. New
Hampshire,1986-88.
Spending over twenty years climbing the highest mountains in the world
has given Scott valuable and unique insights into setting and achieving
goals, overcoming fear, adapting to change, working with diverse “teams”
of people under stressful conditions, and the internal motivation
necessary to challenge oneself day after day. These lessons have shaped
a philosophy he’s developed called Summit Strategies--The Ten
Commandments of Conquering Life’s Mountains.
Mark Steinberg,
Steinberg and Associates
Mark
P. Steinberg is president and founder of Steinberg and Associates,
Business Resource Consultants. Through speeches, training seminars, and
executive coaching, Mark addresses the most critical issues associated
with motivating workforces and increasing their productivity. Drawing
upon his vast interdisciplinary expertise and outstanding presentation
skills, Mark is able to design programs filled with business-relevant
instruction. He has taught on the faculty of The City University of NY
at Manhattan Community College, Queens College, and Hunter College,
lectured at New York University, and has been the recipient of numerous
honors for outstanding university teaching. He worked with the New York
Board of Trade and The Research Foundation of The City University of NY
before starting his consulting business.

University awarded Mark a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with honors.
He earned two Master's Degrees, with honors—one in Counseling Psychology
with a specialty in interpersonal communication, and one in Business
Administration with a specialty in corporate communication.
Sam
Teague - Teague Compliance
Sam Teague established his consulting practice in June 1997 to provide
regulatory compliance assistance to the financial services industry. His
practice focuses on the impact of compliance issues on electronic data
processing systems.
Prior to forming his own company, Sam was the Director of Regulatory
Affairs for the Newtrend Division of Electronic Data Systems Corporation
(EDS) located in Orlando, Florida.
Before joining EDS/Newtrend, Sam held a management position with FIS,
Inc. (now Fiserv Orlando), a regional service bureau with 100 financial
institution clients. Sam began his career with Price Waterhouse working
on audit, tax and consulting engagements.
Sam holds a B.A. degree from Furman University in Greenville, S.C. and
an M.B.A. degree from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. He is also
a licensed C.P.A. in the state of Florida.
