COCC Wins 2009 CIO 100 Award

AVON, Conn., June 4, 2009 – COCC will be honored as one of 100 companies world wide to receive a 2009 CIO 100 award. The award recognizes COCC’s innovative use of virtualization technology to increase the efficiency of its data processing services to banks and credit unions throughout the northeastern United States.

In COCC’s case. desktop virtualization technology has not only enabled the company to “do more with less” but to support its ground-breaking .Net core processing technology that improves client efficiency by as much as 50 percent. The company’s original investment in virtualization technology has already returned 191 percent in cost savings and extended computer hardware life by as much as 40 percent.
