competition focuses on innovative uses of information technology
to create business value, which is exactly what COCC is all

Since 1987, CIO magazine has identified and honored 100
organizations each year that exemplify the highest level of
operational and strategic excellence in information technology.
Judged by former Chief Information Officers, academic experts
and independent consultants, this year’s CIO 100 winners
represent the most innovative, value-driven information
technology business initiatives.

ground-breaking .Net core processing technology that improves
client efficiency by as much as 50 percent. The company’s
original investment in virtualization technology has already
returned 191 percent in cost savings and extended computer
hardware life by as much as 40 percent.
“This year's CIO 100 awards draws well-deserved attention to
companies that are both innovating and creating business value
with information technology despite the economic downturn,” said
Maryfran Johnson, Editor in Chief of CIO magazine &
Events. “These winners are an inspiration to businesses
everywhere.”
