COCC DONATES WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS TO AMERICA'S CREDIT UNION MUSEUM

AVON, CT, June 17, 2003 - Visitors to America's Credit Union Museum can now access the Internet through their laptop computers without the encumbrance of wires or telephone connections. The new wireless Internet connection is a donation by COCC, a financial technology service to community financial institutions throughout the Northeastern US. COCC also donated a laptop PC for presentations shown at the museum.

"COCC is deeply impressed by the quality and value of America's Credit Union Museum," said COCC's President and CEO, Richard A, Leone. "We applaud the work that the credit union movement has done to present the history and philosophy of this important piece of American life."

The museum, located in Manchester, New Hampshire, is the site of America's first credit union. It has been restored to a state-of-the-art exhibition and meeting space thanks to the generosity of many credit unions, credit union associations and vendors such as COCC. Since the facility opened last year, it has become a focal point for the nation's credit union movement.

"We really enjoy being able to connect our visitors to the Internet," said Peggy Powell, Executive Director, America's Credit Union Museum. "This capability amplifies the museum experience and provides additional information during presentation events, which are a regular occasion in this facility. We thank COCC for its generous donation of leading edge technology."

On July 22, COCC and the museum have scheduled a formal presentation of the wireless Internet connectivity donation. Credit unions will be invited and encouraged to attend this gala event.
