COCC PROMOTES THREE FOLLOWING CORE MIGRATIONS
AVON, CONN, December 15, 2003 - COCC is pleased to announce the immediate promotion of three employees. Representing the company's Systems and Programming, Network Services, and Customer Service areas, these promotions prepare COCC for further service success following the completion of its core system migrations in November. COCC is the first financial data processor to successfully migrate all of its clients from a legacy mainframe to an open, client/server platform.
Robert Casey has been promoted to Vice President - Systems & Programming. In this capacity, Mr. Casey will expand his role in developing COCC's new products, integrating third party solutions into the COCC platform, and enhancing COCC's current product line. Casey was instrumental in the company's unprecedented migration of all its customer institutions to COCC's open platform, and in adapting that platform to a data center environment - the first financial data processor to accomplish this feat. He has served COCC clients for more than 10 years.
Brent Biernat has been promoted to Assistant Vice President - Network Services. In this position, Mr. Biernat will continue to promote and support COCC's complete line of network services, which includes network design and installation, Internet access, and web hosting with security services. Biernat essentially built COCC's network services from the beginning and expanded the services to include onsite technical support housed in Boston as well as Connecticut plus extensive phone support. Biernat has been meeting client networking needs since 1994.
Marco Bernasconi has been promoted to Assistant Vice President - Customer Service. Mr. Bernasconi will lead COCC's account executive program, a natural outgrowth of his management of all customer service resources assigned to the system migration effort. Bernasconi has been instrumental to the migration of 94 COCC client institutions from a legacy mainframe system to COCC's open, client/server platform. Bernasconi has provided customer service to COCC clients since 1994.
