Tina Sbrega Elected to COCC’s Board of Directors

AVON, Conn., November 19, 2009 —
The
shareholders of COCC have elected Tina M. Sbrega to
serve on the Board of Directors for a term of three
years. Ms. Sbrega, President and CEO of GFA Federal
Credit Union, is now one of nine COCC clients who
comprise the company’s Board of Directors. COCC has been
a co-operative technology service provider owned by its
clients since 1967 when the company was founded.

serve on COCC’s Board of Directors and I look forward to
working with this outstanding organization,” said Ms.
Sbrega. “GFA FCU has partnered with COCC for 22 years
and during this time, we have seen the company grow into
the premiere data processing company for financial
institutions, including credit unions. Their commitment
to quality service, their cooperative structure, and
their ability to adapt to technology trends continue to
provide us with support and services to better serve our
members. To provide input at the Board level represents

Ms. Sbrega brings 30 years experience at GFA Federal Credit
Union, a $300 million credit union located in Central
Massachusetts. Under her leadership, GFA has become known as
Central Massachusetts’ best credit union. Highlights of Ms.
Sbrega’s current community service include her role as
Director of the Massachusetts Share Insurance Corporation,
Trustee for Mount Wachusett Community College, and Trustee
of Heywood Hospital.
GFA FCU is COCC’s first credit
union client, agreeing to a technology partnership in 1987.
Since then, COCC has attracted such institutions as
HarborOne Credit Union and Freedom Credit Union, and
acquired a credit union technology service in Rochester, New
York. Credit unions throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts,
New York and Ohio are now clients of COCC.

segment of our client population and we need to hear their
voices at every level of our co-operative organization,”
