Avon, CT February 24, 2003 - COCC, the top tier data processing service for community financial institutions in the Northeastern US, today announced an agreement to resell SEDONA Corporation's (OTC: SDNA) Intarsia Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution. With Intarsia, COCC's customer institutions can identify, acquire, foster and retain their profitable customers.
"Today's community financial institutions compete head-to-head with the largest financial services companies in the world," said COCC's president and CEO, Richard A. Leone. "Community financial institutions need the same products and services to succeed. This alliance is part of our strategy of integrating the leading financial systems into the most powerful ensemble in the industry."
The Intarsia product enhances COCC's core processing system by adding user demographics, behavior, interests and preference information. With the enhanced data, the COCC-SEDONA package enables community financial institutions to automatically apply their customer-focused business models to every desktop.
"COCC's customer institutions will be able to analyze and manage critical business performance indicators such as customer, household and product profitability, sales promotions and campaigns," said SEDONA's president and CEO, Marco A. Emrich. "The product improves coordination and communication between community financial institutions and their customers, greatly enhancing the institution's customer care services."
COCC specializes in integrating technology solutions such as Intarsia into the overall core processing system for maximum efficiency and functionality. Because COCC's core system and SEDONA's Intarsia system are based on the latest relational technology, they can be integrated to better serve COCC customer institutions.
"Our company has been serving community financial institutions since 1967," said Mr. Leone. "Our success to date is a direct result of our careful selection of recognized leaders in banking systems and our ability to integrate them and develop additional functionality."
