CEREMONY HIGHLIGHTS COCC’S DONATION OF WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS AT CU MUSEUM

AVON, CT, July 30, 2003 - With a few mouse clicks, officials at America's Credit Union Museum were surfing the Internet without wires or telephone connections. Gordon A. Simmons, Chairman of the Museum's Board; Peggy Powell, Executive Director; and Daniel E. Egan, President of New England Credit Union Services, LLC, showed off COCC's wireless Internet connection on a laptop computer, also donated by COCC.

"Wireless technology is the future,"
said Ms. Powell. "We are pleased to enhance the museum experience with this up-and-coming technology."

Richard A. Leone, COCC's President and CEO, and Gordon A. Simmons, Chairman of the Museum's Board, hold a wireless laptop PC displaying the museum's website.

Visitors to the museum who bring their laptop computers with them can connect to the web using their own wireless hardware or hardware donated by COCC. Instructions and installation CDs are available at the museum for easy installation of the wireless connectivity. Once installed, the visitor can use the connection to view web sites recommended by museum speakers or staff.

The donation ceremony provided an opportunity for credit unions across the Northeast to experience the museum as well as the new technology. COCC provided refreshments and an equipment demonstration for all attendees.

"COCC is deeply impressed by the quality and value of America's Credit Union Museum," said COCC's President and CEO, Richard A, Leone. "We applaud the credit union movement's efforts to present the history and philosophy of this important aspect of American life."
The museum, located in Manchester, New Hampshire, is the site of America's first credit union. It has been restored to a state-of-the-art exhibition and meeting space thanks to the generosity of many credit unions, credit union associations and vendors such as COCC. Since the facility opened last year, it has become a focal point for the nation's credit union movement.

"We really enjoy being able to connect our visitors to the Internet," said Peggy Powell, Executive Director, America's Credit Union Museum. "This capability amplifies the museum experience and provides additional information during presentation events, which are a regular occasion in this facility. We thank COCC for its generous donation of leading edge technology."
