COCC CREATES MARKETING GROUP TO PROMOTE "WRAPAROUND" PRODUCTS

AVON, CT October 7 - COCC, a client-owned data processing service, today announced the formation of an Ancillary Product Group within the Marketing Department. This group is now responsible for marketing COCC's 20+ "wraparound" products to core and non-core clients. Among these products are COCC's Financial Management, Check Processing, Electronic Banking, Network Services, Internet connectivity, and Disaster Recovery services.

"Wraparound products are critical to the health and growth of any community financial institution," said President and CEO, Richard A. Leone. "Because COCC offers all of these products from a single location, we are unique in the industry in terms of service and support. Our integrated approach stimulates innovation and elevates our service to the highest level."

The new Ancillary Products group is headed by Assistant Vice President Linda Stahl, who has been promoted to the position of Managing Officer. Linda has managed the company's financial management group since 1989 in supporting a complete line of financial applications. Most recently, Linda led COCC's effort to adapt Oracle Corporation's suite of financial applications to the needs of community financial institutions. She successfully launched and promoted these applications to more than 60 percent of the client base within the past three years. COCC chose the Oracle platform because of its outstanding utility and compatibility with the company's open, relational core system.

Working with Linda is Darlene White who has been promoted to the position of Business Development Manager. Darlene began her COCC career in the Professional Services Group where she advised senior management at client institutions on a variety of projects from the business issues driving the introduction of debit cards to re-engineering and strategic planning.

"The new Ancillary Products team is now the source for any financial institution looking to explore COCC's ample offering of wraparound products and services," said Linda Stahl. "Most of our products do not require a core processing relationship with COCC. We encourage every community financial institution that is considering an addition or upgrade of these services to evaluate COCC's superior product line."
