Job Summary
Altoona First Savings Bank is seeking an experienced Retail Underwriting & Loan Systems Manager to lead our loan operations, manage key lending systems, and ensure smooth, compliant processing for consumer, mortgage, and home equity loans.
What You’ll Do
- Lead day-to-day loan operations and support loan officers and processors.
- Administer loan systems (LoanVantage, Encompass, AccuAccount) and keep workflows running smoothly.
- Review loans for accuracy, compliance, disclosures, and documentation.
- Perform quality control reviews, including Freddie Mac QC.
- Handle HMDA data, regulatory filings, and operational reporting.
- Support online loan applications and document imaging.
- Assist with audits and examinations.
What You Bring
- 5+ years in loan operations or mortgage operations.
- Strong understanding of TILA-RESPA, HMDA, and mortgage compliance.
- Experience with LOS/imaging systems preferred.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and ability to support a lending team.
