January 2026 Officer Promotions

The COCC Board of Directors has approved five promotions within our Officer team effective Thursday, January 1, 2026. These promotions are proof of these individuals’ knowledge, commitment, vision, and leadership as they work to ensure COCC’s continued success.

Senior Vice President, Chief Transformation Officer

Elizabeth’s new role reflects her outstanding leadership and pivotal contributions to driving organizational change at COCC. She has been instrumental in advancing initiatives that enhance our solutions, modernize operations, improve client experiences, and position COCC for long-term success. Elizabeth’s focus on transformation spans technology, processes, and culture – ensuring we remain agile and forward-thinking in a rapidly evolving industry. In her new role, Elizabeth will continue to lead high-performing teams while shaping COCC’s product mix and driving enterprise-wide strategies designed to accelerate growth and deliver meaningful value to our clients. She will continue to report directly to Matt L’Heureux.

Jill has played a key role in leading COCC’s marketing and sales efforts, further advancing business development initiatives across the organization. She has driven meaningful progress in how we position brand, value, and growth through thoughtful, effective marketing strategies that strengthen alignment between product, sales, relationship management, and clients, while also helping deepen client relationships by aligning strategic product capabilities with evolving technology needs. Jill brings exceptional energy, passion, and leadership and has helped shape teams that consistently deliver results. In her new role, Jill will continue to expand her involvement in supporting new core sales efforts and aid in reinforcing COCC’s overall growth strategy. Jill will continue reporting to Sue Salecky.

Senior Vice President, Chief Service & Engagement Officer

Michelle’s promotion to Senior Vice President reflects her exceptional leadership in client service and her expanded responsibilities at COCC. She has continued to excel in building and enhancing our client relationship management and training strategy, while consistently demonstrating the ability to navigate large, complex client issues—making her a key leader in our overall client service strategy. Michelle has been highly successful in fostering strong partnerships between relationship management and our clients, while also strengthening collaboration with our internal service teams. Today, our Support, Client Success, and Training teams are comprised of seasoned product, service, and training specialists, and Michelle serves as a role model for the consistent service delivery at COCC. In addition to these responsibilities, Michelle will now oversee our Conversions teams, further expanding her leadership role in ensuring seamless client onboarding and service excellence. She will continue as a member of our Executive Management Team, reporting directly to Rich Leone.

First Vice President, Chief Payments Officer

Alex’s broad understanding of our platforms, combined with his deep expertise in payments and API (application programming interface) technology, has been an invaluable asset to COCC. His strong operational, technical, and integration knowledge has supported the growing complexity of our product suites, driving COCC’s success and positioning us to meet the future needs of our clients. Alex will continue to oversee the Treasury Management, Instant Payments, and Electronic Banking teams, reporting directly to Dave Frauenhofer.

First Vice President, Chief Technology Officer

Darren has played a pivotal role in advancing COCC’s infrastructure teams toward innovative technologies and virtualization for our clients. Darren was a key contributor to the design and implementation of our iWorkstation product—an infrastructure-as-a-service solution that enables customers to operate with greater flexibility, responsiveness, and security. In this role, Darren will oversee all technical operations, providing leadership across our physical and cloud data centers as well as helping to drive AI initiatives. Darren will report directly to Brent Biernat.
