Southington, Conn. – Dianne Peterson, Senior Vice President of Client Services at COCC, has been elected to serve on the board of directors for the New England Automated Clearing House (NEACH) Payments Group. Ms. Peterson began her term following her election at the group’s August meeting.

As part of the NEACH Payments Group’s board, Ms. Peterson will be sharing her expertise and insights on the payments industry, NEACH’s role in the industry, and how NEACH can continue supporting financial institutions in today’s challenging landscape. She joins an impressive group of industry experts from banks, credit unions, and other organizations, all of whom help to shape NEACH’s strategic direction.

Ms. Peterson’s appointment is also a continuation of COCC’s representation on the NEACH Payments Group board of directors. It comes as Betsy Didan, First Vice President for Item Processing at COCC, stepped down this summer, after acting as the Chairman of the Board since 2016.

NEACH and COCC have partnered many times over the past several years with conferences and to host educational events, such as COCC’s Commercial Services Forum designed to support COCC clients. “Maintaining COCC’s link to NEACH Payments is important for both companies,” Ms. Peterson said. “I’m excited to take on this role and foster the connection between our two groups.”

During her time at COCC, Ms. Peterson has been heavily involved in implementing new service offerings, handling complex support issues, and managing a large list of various projects. Her experience, operational knowledge, and leadership skills make her a strong resource to NEACH Payments Group.
